Cancer Awareness and Screening Program in Vaavu Atoll
Summary of our Vaavu Screening trip, 21-24 September 2022.
We did 519 screenings in total and created awareness for 425 participants.
In V. Felidhoo for people of Felidhoo, Keyodhoo, Rakeedhoo and Thinadhoo:
- 139 people we screened for breast cancer, 203 people for oral cancer and 71 people were screened for cervical cancer.
In V. Fulidhoo:
- 37 people were screened for breast cancer, 48 people for oral cancer and 21 people were screened for cervical cancer.
