World Cancer Day
#WorldCancerDay 2023 event was held on 4th February at Hulhumale Central Park.
At our #WorldCancerDay event we had a #CancerTalk segment focusing on experiences of cancer patients. The topics included “How to talk to someone with cancer”, “How cancer changed me” and cancer stories of 2 patients.
we conducted a series of awareness sessions in collaboration with @hpa_mv for staff of all health facilities in Maldives. The sessions were participated by more than 437 participants. The sessions focused on cancer in general, WCD theme, cancer situation in Maldives, risk factors and prevention.
